**ClonBrowser** is a browser for secure internet browsing using separate profiles. Each profile works as a separate device with its own unique settings: browser fingerprint, operating system, screen resolution, language, and time zone.

ClonBrowser protects your privacy, helps you avoid blocks, and securely manage multiple accounts.

In this guide, we will show you how to set up a proxy in ClonBrowser. We are using the English interface, but you can select a different language in the settings.

ClonBrowser supports various types of <a href="https://app.cyberyozh.com/blog/choosing-the-perfect-proxy-types-of-protocols-and-their-features" target="_blank">proxy servers</a>, allowing users to choose the best option for their specific tasks. The platform is compatible with the following proxy types:

- HTTP/HTTPS — the standard protocol for most tasks
- SOCKS4/SOCKS5 — a secure and versatile protocol for different types of connections
- SSH (via SOCKS5) — a protocol with enhanced encryption

Resident or mobile proxies are best suited for ClonBrowser — they provide maximum reliability and minimal risk of blocking. In this guide, we will look at the setup via the SOCKS5 protocol, although the principles for setting up HTTP and SSH are similar. To get started, you will need ClonBrowser installed and activated, as well as a reliable personal proxy server. Prepare your authorization data: login, password, and connection parameters from your provider.

## Obtaining data for connecting to a proxy on App CyberYozh

On the <a href="https://app.cyberyozh.com/proxy" target="_blank">website</a>, select the <a href="https://app.cyberyozh.com/blog/how-to-choose-and-buy-proxies-on-app-cyberyozh" target="_blank">proxy type</a> that suits you, taking into account the following parameters:
• Proxy type: mobile or residential
• IP type: static or dynamic
• Geolocation: select a country or region
• Provider: make sure it meets your requirements

After purchasing a proxy, you will receive the connection information:

- Host: Proxy IP address
- Port: Proxy port
- Proxy Username: Login
- Proxy Password: Password

Proxy example:

- Host: 172.98.60.180
- Port: 58763
- Login: 7XbvvWautzmOZMA
- Password: xdtAof3xB7RSmUr

## Creating a new browser profile

Open **ClonBrowser**.

On the main screen, tap **“Create a New Browser Profile”**.

In the window that appears, specify:

- Profile name: Enter any name, for example, MyFirstProfile
- Browser: Select the desired engine (ClonBrowser or FlonBrowser)
- Operating system: Select the required OS
- User Agent: Configure as desired

## Proxy settings

At the bottom, find the **Proxy** section.

In the “Proxy” section, select “Custom” and enter the proxy data you received:

- IP address or host
- Port
- Connection type (usually SOCKS5 or HTTPS)
- Login and password, if required

For example:

- Host: 51.79.24.25
- Port: 9595
- Username: pcomUjvMAk-res-any
- Password: xdtAof3xB7RSmUr

Your settings should look like this:

## Checking functionality

Click the **“Connect Test”** button.

If the proxy is working, the connection status will be displayed as successful.

Click **“Create Browser”** to save the profile.

## Launching and using the profile

After creation, the profile will appear in the list.

Click **“Launch”** to start.

Go to the created profile and check the proxy connection by going to <a href="https://browserleaks.com/ip" target="_blank">the website</a> to make sure the IP is set correctly.

Congratulations! You have successfully configured your profile and connected the proxy in ClonBrowser. Now you can safely work on the Internet with flexible traffic routing.
