## Obtaining data for connecting to a proxy on the CyberYozh app

On the <a href="https://app.cyberyozh.com/proxy" target="_blank">website</a>, select the <a href="https://app.cyberyozh.com/blog/how-to-choose-and-buy-proxies-on-app-cyberyozh" target="_blank">proxy type</a> that suits you, taking into account the following parameters:
• Proxy type: mobile or residential
• IP type: static or dynamic
• Geolocation: select a country or region
• Provider: make sure it meets your requirements

After purchasing a proxy, you will receive the connection information:

- Host: Proxy IP address
- Port: Proxy port
- Proxy Username: Login
- Proxy Password: Password

Proxy example:

- Host: 172.98.60.180
- Port: 58763
- Login: 7XbvvWautzmOZMA
- Password: xdtAof3xB7RSmUr

## Installing and launching ProxyCap

Download the program from the <a href="https://www.proxycap.com/download.html" target="_blank">official website</a>.

After installing the program:

Find it in the tray (next to the clock).

Right-click on the icon and select **“Configuration”**.

The main settings window will open.

## Adding a proxy server

On the left side of the window, select the “Proxies” tab.

Click the “New proxy server” button.

In the window that appears, specify:

- IP address or host;
- Port;
- Connection type (usually SOCKS5 or HTTPS);
- Login and password, if required.

For example:

- Host: 51.79.24.25
- Port: 9595
- Username: pcomUjvMAk-res-any
- Password: xdtAof3xB7RSmUr

If your proxy requires authorization, check the **“Proxy requires authentication”** box — fields for entering your login and password will appear.

Your settings should look like this:

Enter the data and click **OK**.

The proxy will appear in the list.

### Checking the proxy

Select the proxy from the list and click **“Check proxy server”**.

The program will check the connection.

If the message **“Success”** appears, the proxy is working; if **“Failed”** appears, the proxy is not working, use another one.

## Creating a rule

Now you need to specify which programs will use the proxy.

Click **“New rule”**.

In the window that appears:

1. In the **“Rule Action”** field, select **“Redirect through proxy”**.
2. Below, in the **‘Proxy’** field, select the desired proxy from the list.
3. Check the **“Resolve names remotely”** box — this will protect against DNS leaks.
4. Check the **TCP** and **UDP** boxes (if necessary).

In the **“Programs”** section:

- By default, the proxy is applied to all programs.
- To set a proxy for a specific program, select **“Specify”** and specify the path to the .exe file of the desired application.

In the **“Rule name”** field, enter the name of the rule.

Click **OK**.

## Completing the setup

Select the created profile (Fig. 11) and check the proxy connection by going to <a href="https://browserleaks.com/ip" target="_blank">website</a> to make sure the IP is set correctly.

### How to disable the proxy

- Close ProxyCap — the program will automatically return to the normal connection.
- Or change/delete the desired rule in the program settings.

Congratulations! You have successfully configured your profile and connected the proxy in ProxyCap. Now you can work safely online, flexibly configuring traffic routing for different applications.
