Setting up proxy in Microsoft Edge

Today we will tell you how to set up a proxy server in Microsoft Edge browser. Please note that this setting applies to all browsers, so it is recommended to disable the proxy after using the option.

### Browser Setup

First, go to Preferences

Next, select “System and Performance”.

### Configure Proxy Server

Find “Proxy Server Setup” and click “Open proxy server settings”.

In the window that opens, scroll down, enable proxy server and specify the server address and port.

Note that you need to use the http protocol, not socks5, when using the browser. If you don't see this protocol, you should always ask tech support after purchase.

After filling in the parameters, click “Save”.

### Private Proxy Authorization

If you are using private proxy servers, the system will ask for login and password. Enter the required data.

### Verify that the proxy is working

Refresh the page and verify that your IP address has changed to the IP address of the proxy server.
