### **Proxy settings in Binom V1: A step-by-step guide for Facebook and Google Ads campaigns**

For arbitrageurs working with sources such as Facebook and Google Ads, multi-accounting is not a whim, but a production necessity. However, managing dozens of accounts carries a major risk: they can be “glued” together by IP address and subsequently banned en masse. The solution to this problem is to use proxies.

Many arbitrageurs set up proxies in anti-detection browsers, but there is another, deeper level of integration: setting up proxies directly in the tracker. This allows you to mask the service requests that the tracker sends to the ad network, making each campaign more trustworthy and autonomous.

In this technical guide, we will take a detailed look at how to configure proxies in the Binom arbitrage tracker.

> **IMPORTANT:** This feature was available **only in Binom version V1** and was intended **exclusively for integration with Facebook and Google Ads campaigns**. This functionality is not currently implemented in newer versions of the tracker. This guide will show you how it worked and give you an understanding of the principles of such integration.

### **Preparation: What we need**

You only need two things to set it up:

* ** Access to your Binom V1 tracker** (we will use the official demo version as an example).
* **High-quality proxies** with login and password authorization. HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 protocols are suitable.

### **Step-by-step proxy setup in Binom V1**

The process consists of three key steps: first, we add a proxy to the tracker database, then we create an advertising account profile with this proxy, and finally we link this profile to a specific campaign.

#### **Step 1: Collect proxy credentials**

The first and most important step is to make sure you have a complete set of authorization data. These “keys” will allow your application or browser to connect to the proxy server and route traffic through it.

Be sure to prepare the following data:

* **IP address** (host server)
* **Port** for connection
* **Login** and **password** for authorization
* **Protocol type** (HTTP/HTTPS or SOCKS5)

#### **Step 2: Adding a proxy to the traffic source**

At this stage, we will “introduce” the tracker to our proxy server.

1. **Go to “Traffic Sources.”** In the Binom V1 interface, select the **“Traffic Sources”** tab.

2. **Select a source**. Find and select the source you are working with in the list, for example, **“Facebook”**.

3. **Open the proxy section**. After selecting the source, additional controls will appear at the top. Click on the **“Accounts”** button, and then click on the **“Proxies”** button.

4. **Create a new proxy**. In the proxy manager that opens, click **“+ Create”**.

5. **Fill in the details**. In the “Create proxy” window, enter all the information about your proxy server:
   * **Name:** A meaningful name, for example, “CyberYozh App”.
   * **Host:** The server's IP address.
   * **Port:** The server's port.
   * **Login:** Your login for authorization.
   * **Password:** Your password.
   * **Protocol:** Specify the protocol, for example, **Socks5**.
   * **Mobile:** Check this box if you are using a mobile proxy.

6. **Save**. Click **“Save.”** Your proxy will appear in the list. On the same screen, you can select it and click **“Check”** to verify it.

>**Note:** In the demo version of Binom V1, the check function may not work, and the status will remain “inactive” even if the proxy is fully operational.

#### **Step 3: Linking the proxy to your advertising account**

Now that the proxy is in the database, you need to link it to your advertising account profile within Binom.

1. **Create an account**. Return to the **“Traffic Sources”** tab in the **‘Accounts’** settings (within the Facebook traffic source) and click **“+ Create”**.

2. **Link a proxy**. In the “Create facebook account” window, find the “Proxy” field. You have two options:
   * **“Add proxy”:** Click to select the proxy you added in the previous step from the list.
   * **“New proxy”:** Click to open the window for creating a new proxy and add it “on the fly.”

3. **Fill in and save**. After linking the proxy, enter your account name and, if necessary, other data (User-agent, Cookie, Token) and click **“Save”**. Your account with the linked proxy will appear in the list.

> **Note:** In the demo version, the “Error” column may display “incorrect proxy.” This is a feature of the demo stand; your working version of the tracker should not display any errors if the data is correct.

#### **Step 4: Linking your account to a campaign**

The final and most important step is to activate the use of your account (and the associated proxy) in a specific advertising campaign.

1. **Open the campaign**. Go to the **“Campaigns”** section and open the desired campaign for editing. Make sure that the correct traffic source (“Facebook”) is selected for it.

2. **Enable integration**. Scroll down the campaign settings to the **“Integrations”** section. Check the box next to **“Facebook (beta)”**.

3. **Add an account to the campaign**. Immediately after checking the box, the **“ACCOUNTS”** section will appear below. Here, as in the previous step, there are two options:
   * **“+ Account”:** Click to select a previously created account from the list.
   * **“New account”:** Click to create a new account profile directly from this interface.

4. **Save the campaign**. Once the account has been added to the list within the campaign, don't forget to click **“Save”** at the bottom to make all changes take effect.

Great! Now your advertising campaign in Binom V1 will interact with Facebook or Google Ads through a dedicated proxy server. This method allows you to significantly increase the “survivability” of your advertising accounts by distributing activity across different IPs and reducing the risk of automatic blocking by advertising networks.

Keep in mind that the effectiveness of this method directly depends on the quality of the proxies used. Cheap or public proxy servers will do more harm than good.
