Proxy settings in AntBrowser

AntBrowser — is a powerful, privacy-focused browser designed for secure web browsing. It allows users to manage multiple profiles simultaneously. One of the key features of this tool is the ability to assign individual proxy servers to each profile, significantly increasing the level of data protection while working online. In this manual, we will provide a step-by-step guide on how to correctly configure, add, and verify the performance of proxy connections in AntBrowser to ensure maximum security for your online activities.

Which proxy to choose for AntBrowser?

AntBrowser supports HTTP and SOCKS5, but success depends not only on the protocol but also on the origin of the IP address.

1. Mobile Proxies (4G/5G)

  • What they are: IP addresses of real cellular operators with rotation capability (IP change).
  • Purpose: Ideal for social networks (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), managing corporate accounts, and running digital marketing campaigns.
  • Why they work: Thanks to CGNAT technology, social networks trust these addresses the most. In AntBrowser, mobile proxies provide a stable and reliable connection for seamless social media management.

2. Residential Proxies (ISP)

  • What they are: IP addresses of home internet service providers.
  • Purpose: The best choice for E-commerce (Amazon, eBay, Avito), crypto exchanges, CoinList, and payment systems.
  • Why they work: They mimic the behavior of a regular home user. It is important to use them in static mode (without rotation) so that the IP does not change during work.

3. Datacenter Proxies (Datacenter)

  • What they are: IP addresses of hosting providers.
  • Purpose: Suitable for basic tasks, data scraping, and web application testing.
  • Risk: Using them in AntBrowser for large-scale marketing campaigns on platforms like Facebook or Google is not recommended.
