Proxy for Minecraft

Minecraft — is one of the most popular online games in the world. Large servers (such as Hypixel, 2b2t, or popular regional projects) gather thousands of players online. But where there is an online presence, there are also strict rules.

Administrators use powerful Anti-VPN plugins that instantly identify and block users attempting to hide their IP via free services.

In this guide, we will break down why high-quality proxies are necessary in Minecraft, how to correctly choose an IP address to maintain a stable connection and privacy, and how to configure the game so that your real address doesn't "leak" to the server.

⛏️ Part 1. Why do you need a proxy in Minecraft?

  1. Managing multiple secure connections If you need to manage several legitimate accounts from the same network, a proxy helps safely route your connection and protect your digital privacy.

  2. Managing multiple game instances For server load testing or running several legitimate clients simultaneously, proxies provide dedicated IP addresses for each instance to prevent network routing conflicts and maintain stability.

  3. Ensuring connection compatibility Many servers block public VPNs due to shared traffic. A high-quality private proxy provides a clean, dedicated connection that easily meets the standard requirements of the server network.

  4. Ping stabilization If you are playing on a foreign server, your traffic may take a long route. A direct connection through a proxy physically located closer to the game server will eliminate "ghost blocks" (latency when breaking blocks) and rubberbanding.

💡 Part 2. Which proxy to choose for Minecraft?

For online play (Java Edition), we require proxies with SOCKS5 support.

In the CyberYozh App, we recommend two options for different tasks:

  • 🟢 Static Residential (ISP Static) — For main accounts and Hypixel These are elite home IP addresses. These residential IPs provide the highest level of privacy by routing your traffic so that your connection looks exactly like a standard home network. To the server, you are a regular player from the USA, Germany, or another chosen country. This is the ideal choice for playing on top licensed servers where accounts are highly valued.

  • 🟡 Datacenter (IPv4) — For multiple clients and custom community servers Fast and affordable IPs. Great for managing multiple connections on custom projects. Assign each client its own dedicated IP address for stable 24/7 operation without connection drops.

⚙️ Part 3. How to configure a proxy for Minecraft (The Main Secret)

Common mistake: Players enter the proxy into Windows settings or try to proxify MinecraftLauncher.exe. As a result, the launcher starts with the new IP, but the game itself (the Java engine) goes direct and reveals your real address!

To make the proxy work specifically within the game, you need a proxifier like Proxifier.

⚠️ Setup in Proxifier (Step-by-Step):

  1. Open Proxifier, go to Profile -> Proxy Servers.

  2. Add your CyberYozh credentials. Important: Our service uses port 9595 for SOCKS5.

    • Example: IP: 123.45.67.89, Port: 9595, Protocol: SOCKS Version 5, enter your Login and Password.

  3. Go to Profile -> Proxification Rules.

  4. Click Add (to create a new rule).

  5. In the Applications field, enter the Java executable file that the game runs on. Usually, it is: javaw.exe; java.exe (This will also work for third-party launchers like TLauncher or Lunar Client, as they use Java).

  6. In the Action field, select the added proxy.

  7. Click OK. Launch the game! Now your character is on a new IP address.

For automated testing and multi-clients (Console clients)

Most testing programs and multi-clients (e.g., MCC ToolChest, OQ MineBot) have a built-in proxy manager. You don't need Proxifier. Simply insert the list of proxies from the CyberYozh App in the format IP:PORT:LOGIN:PASS (port 9595, type SOCKS5), and the program will distribute your connections across different addresses itself.

Conclusion

Minecraft server administrators are constantly improving their defenses, and free VPNs have long ceased to be a reliable way to maintain a stable connection without restrictions.

👉 Want to play without limits? In the CyberYozh App, you will find reliable Datacenter IPv4 for managing multiple game clients and the purest Residential (ISP Static) proxies for safe play on the strictest servers. Choose SOCKS5, set up Proxifier according to our guide, and break blocks without lag!
