There are two main misconceptions surrounding gaming proxies:

2. Bypassing bans (IP vs HWID)

It is important not to confuse these concepts here.

  • IP Ban: The game blocks your network address (often happens in Warface, PUBG, or if someone in your subnet "broke the rules").

  • Hardware Ban (HWID): The most severe case. The anti-cheat remembers the serial numbers of your graphics card and drive.
